Party leader offers incense to late President Ho Chi Minh
VOV.VN - General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong offered incense on September 1 in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at House 67 in the Ho Chi Minh relic site, where the late President passed away on September 2, 1969.
The visit to the house marks the occasion of the 77th National Day, and also the 53rd year since the death of President Ho Chi Minh.
Talking to staff at the relic site, General Secretary Trong said that there is a lot to say about the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, with countless works being published about him and both domestic and foreign researchers conducting detailed research into his life.
He went on to hail their efforts to impart the ideology, morality, and lifestyle of the late President to visitors.
House 67, where President Ho Chi Minh lived, worked, and passed away, still keeps many remembrances associated with his life and career. It was also a venue for the Political Bureau’s meetings during the fiercest years of the war fought in Vietnam.

According to the General Secretary, President Ho Chi Minh was a great leader, a teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, and dearly loved by the nation.
He left us a great legacy, but talking about as an Uncle, one must understand and grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thought, his style, and morality, General Secretary Trong emphasized.
On occasion of major national anniversaries and festivals, the Party chief has always paid respect to President Ho Chi Minh, a genius leader and a national hero who devoted his entire life to the Vietnamese country and people, leading the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people to glorious victories.
He reiterated that studying and following the late President’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle is an important task for the entire Party and all people.
