NA to elect State Vice President and Auditor General
VOV.VN - Law makers will continue discussing the personnel work during its 11th session on April 6, during which State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will report on the result of discussion in groups on the dismissal of Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will announce the result of discussion on the relief of its members and will then conduct the dismissal of these posts by secret ballot before adopting resolutions on the issue.
After the dismissal process, the State President will summit a list of nominees for the legislature to elect a new Vice State President, while the NA Standing Committee submits nominations for law makers to elect a number of NA Standing Committee members.
In the afternoon of the same day, the NA is set to carry out the process of electing the Vice State President and some members of the NA Standing Committee, with the vote counting results set to be announced soon afterward.
The NA Standing Committee will submit a candidate list for the NA to elect heads of several NA Committees, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and the State Auditor General.
Earlier on April 5, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Politburo member of the 13th tenure and a deputy of the 14th legislature was elected State President, and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh was elected Prime Minister for the 2016-2021 tenure.
