Party chief attends art programme marking 50 years of national reunification
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary To Lam attended a special art programme, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), held at the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City on April 20 evening.

The 90-minute programme, organized by the Ministry of National Defence, reenacted the arduous but glorious journey of the Vietnamese people in their struggle for national independence, freedom, and defence.
The centerpiece of the show was the image of soldiers and the bold, decisive, and swift spirit of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign vividly portrayed through meticulously choreographed and emotionally rich performances.
The programme also honoured the wise leadership of the Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the great national unity bloc – the key elements culminating in the great victory in the Spring of 1975.

The show featured a stage of over 3,000 m², enhanced with cutting-edge visual technologies such as 3D mapping, along with a modern sound and lighting system, all contributing to a heightened emotional and visual experience.
More than 1,000 artists and performers participated in the programme, that was a heartfelt tribute to generations of soldiers and compatriots who fought and sacrificed for peace.
The programme created a source of pride, patriotism, and a forward-looking spirit in the cause of national construction and defence in the new era toward a thriving and powerful Vietnam in the future.
