NA Vice Chairman to manage legislature operations
VOV.VN - Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man was entrusted with the task of taking care of the legislature and its standing committee after their leader Vuong Dinh Hue was relieved of his position at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly in Hanoi on May 2.
Man will manage the operations of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee until a new leader of the legislature is elected.
Born in 1962, Man has earned a PhD degree in Economics and a Bachelor degree in Politics. He held several key positions, including head of the Can Tho city administration, secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee and president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee before being elected Vice Chairman of the National Assembly in 2021.
He is currently member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
