Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin visits Vietnam
VOV.VN - General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense of Vietnam, hosted a welcoming ceremony in Hanoi on December 17 for Lieutenant General Viktor Gennadievich Khrenin, Minister of Defense of Belarus, on his official visit to Vietnam.

The visit takes place at a time when Vietnam is celebrating 80 years of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and 35 years of All-People’s National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024), alongside the Vietnam Defense International Exhibition 2024.
The traditional friendship and Vietnam-Belarus partnership has been developing positively across various fields, including politics-diplomacy, defense-security, and economy-trade. Notably, military-technical cooperation is a key area of collaboration between the two countries.
The two sides have maintained delegation exchanges at all levels, military training, scientific research, communications, and military judiciary cooperation.
Khrenin’s visit is expected to strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries, thereby consolidating and further developing the traditional friendship and Vietnam-Belarus partnership.
