Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang hosts Deputy FM of Bosnia and Herzegovina
VOV.VN - Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Vietnam's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) recently received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkic to discuss bilateral and multilateral issues.
At the meeting, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang proposed that the two sides intensify delegation exchanges at all levels, especially high-level ones, as well as business and people-to-people exchanges.
The Ambassador also suggested both sides promote economic and trade ties, which remain modest, and consider the possibility of signing a visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders. He said Vietnam recognizes Bosnia & Herzegovina’s candidacy to the UN Economic and Social Council for the 2025-2027 term.
For his part, the Deputy FM of Bosnia & Herzegovina agreed with the proposal made by the Vietnamese side and said that the two sides still boast huge potential to foster bilateral relations across a variety of fields, while showing his hope that Vietnam will actively support his nation's bid to become a member of the UN Economic and Social Council.
