Overview of Nhat Tan Bridge and Hanoi’s most modern road
(VOV) - Nhat Tan, Vietnam’s biggest cable-stayed bridge and Vo Nguyen Giap road opened to traffic on January 4 have become a new symbol of the capital city.

The project was approved by the Ministry of Transport in 2006 with a total investment of around VND14 trillion, a large proportion of which came from the Japanese Government’s official development assistance (ODA) fund. |

The 8-lane bridge is 3.75km long and 33.2m wide, with access roads at each end totaling 5.17km. It links Phu Thuong ward in Tay Ho precinct and Nam Hong street in Dong Anh district on the way to Noi Bai International Airport. |
