Miss Vietnam Gala to take place in Tuan Chau Island
VOV.VN - A gala dinner to mark 30 years of Miss Vietnam beauty pageant is set to take place on Tuan Chau Island, Ha Long Bay on August 18.

| The gala will attract the participation of Miss Vietnam 2018 contestants and winners of previous Miss Vietnam pageants. |

| Tuan Chau Island is favoured with splendid natural beauty. |

| The final rounds of Miss Vietnam 2004 and 2010 were held on the island. |

| Tuan Chau Marina which has officially become the largest artificial port in Vietnam, offers tourists a chance to discover Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve. |

| Tuan Chau Marina consists of inland waterway ports 1 and 2 to welcome international cruise ships and foreign tourists. |

| Tuan Chau had been a poor island commune having no electricity, water, and markets. Rudimentary boats were the only means of transport which failed to connect Tuan Chau island to the mainland. |

| A 2km long and 15m wide road was built in 1998, connecting the island to the mainland. |

| Currently, visitors have a chance to stay at a luxurious resort with indoor and outdoor entertainment areas and artificial beaches. |
