Hanoi exhibition honours memories of historic Truong Son Trail

VOV.VN - An exhibition with the theme of “Truong Son Pride” opened in the Vietnamese Women’s Museum to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the historical Truong Son Trail on May 16, the trail is also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail (1959-2019).

The exhibition has been jointly organised by the Truong Son war veteran association and the Vietnamese Women’s Museum. |

On display are several precious photos that capture the construction of the trail, the typical life of soldiers, as well as the volunteers who served on the Truong Son Trail and across battlefields throughout the nation. |

Nationally the site is known as the Truong Son Trail, which illustrates the military trail that runs through the Truong Son mountain range. The trail runs through the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, and Binh Phuoc. |

The exhibition helps to educate visitors on the horrors of war, the hardships that people face, and the bravery Vietnamese soldiers showed when battling them in defence of the country. |
