Bui Minh Dang, deputy head of the Air Transport Department under the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), says the country officially reopens to international passengers as of March 15, adding that local airlines are ready to restore international air routes and have duly opened ticket sales for commercial flights

The nation has reopened international routes to and from 20 countries and territories globally, with the aim of welcoming approximately eight million international visitors, including six million tourists, this year.
