VOV.VN - The Fourth Regional Command of the Vietnam People’s Navy has held a ceremony to transport gifts from the mainland to officers, soldiers and islanders on the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago in the lead up to the lunar New Year Festival (Tet), the biggest of its kind in Vietnam.

With Tet gifts transported from the mainland, Truong Sa islanders feel as if they always receive material and spiritual support from their compatriots on the mainland, says Colonel Le Dinh Hai, deputy commander of Brigade 146, and chairman of the People’s Committee of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province.
