Military doctors join frontline forces in COVID-19 fight in the south

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Defence held a ceremony on August 6 in Hanoi to send off 100 military doctors and nurses to various field hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province to support local frontline forces in their ongoing fight against COVID-19.

So far, the Ministry of Defence has established seven field hospitals in the southern region capable of providing treatment for 3,500 COVID-19 patients, and it plans to expand the capacity threefold in the future.
