VOV.VN - The Ho Chi Minh City-Gyeongsangbuk-do culture and tourism festival kicked off on November 27 at 23/9 Park in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, with the event drawing plenty of locals and tourists.

Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Duong Anh Duc, vice chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, outlined his belief that the festival will help to promote the image of the Korean locality to local residents, while also contributing to bolstering cultural and tourism collaboration between the two countries.

The festival is scheduled to last through to November 29. In 2017 the function was held in the southern city for three months, attracting over three million visitors.
