Vietnamese exports to Cambodia enjoy growth
VOV.VN - Trade turnover between Vietnam and Cambodia during the first eight months of the year grew by 15.1 per cent in comparison with the same period from last year to nearly US$3.549 billion, according to the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia.

Significant growth was seen in aquatic products by 54 per cent, steel and iron products (62 per cent), chemicals, (34 per cent), and garments and textiles (28 percent).
Despite this strong growth in a number of sectors, 10 out of a total of 28 export products to Cambodia witnessed a decline, including fruit and vegetables down by 14 per cent, coffee (21 per cent), fertilisers (29 per cent) , rubber products ( 31 per cent), and ceramics (37 per cent).
Simultaneously, the country’s imports from the Cambodian market reached US$683 million during the eight-month period, an annual increase of 3.2 per cent.
Six out of nine import products enjoyed robust growth, including fruit and vegetables, cashew nut, soybean, rubber, machinery, and spare parts.
