Vietnam attends India International Furniture Fair
VOV.VN - Vietnamese wood businesses showcased their products at the India International Furniture Fair (IIFF) in Mumbai from November 17 to 19 in an effort to accelerate exports to the market.

Participating Vietnamese enterprises at the fair include Kettle Interiors Asia, Duc Thanh wood processing JSC, and Bconnect Furniture company, that introduce a range of products exported to the United States and European markets.
These all represent reputable Vietnamese wood companies which have identified India as a potential target market as they seek to promote exports amid numerous difficulties in key export markets.
According to Bui Trung Thuong, Vietnamese Trade Counselor in India, amid falling demand in large and traditional markets, India is expected to emerge as a promising market for Vietnamese furniture products. To gain a firm foothold in this market, Thuogn suggested that Vietnamese firms pay close attention to consumer tastes as well as market barriers.
Many Indian partners inquired into Vietnamese products on display at this exhibition.
During the fair, the Asia-Africa Market Department and the Vietnamese Trade Office in India in collaboration with the Interior Design Institute of India co-hosted a meeting with Vietnamese and Indian businesses in order to bolster cooperation in the wood industry.
