Vietfish 2015 opens in Ho Chi Minh City
The Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition (Vietfish) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on August 24.
As many as 188 businesses, including those from 16 foreign countries and territories, are showcasing their products in 317 booths, up 14% compared to last year.
As part of the three-day event, a number of seminars are held by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with the aim of helping visitor better understand the industry’s trend and prospect.
Organised by VASEP for the first time in 1998, the annual exhibition is aimed at promoting the image of Vietnamese aquatic products to the foreign markets.
