Tinh Bien – An Giang int’l trade fair kicks off
Nearly 200 exhibitors joined the 2015 Tinh Bien–An Giang International Trade Fair that opened on June 5 at the Xuan To industrial zone, Tinh Bien district, the Mekong Delta province of An Giang.
The fair, co-organised by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and An Giang provincial People’s Committee, runs until June 10.
More than 400 booths feature a wide range of items from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia such as -forestry and aquatic produce, processed food and consumer goods, wooden furniture and interior designs, building materials and craft products.
A series of activities, including meetings on trade exchanges and investment for businesses, the Cambodian market survey programme, as well as folk games and special art performances, will also be held during the fair.
The fair presents an opportunity for domestic enterprises, especially those in the Mekong Delta region, to boost goods exports, promote their brand names, and investment cooperation with other partners in the Mekong Sub-region, and strengthen trade ties between the region and neighbouring Cambodia and other ASEAN countries.
