Businesses and cooperatives in the districts of Moc Chau, Yen Chau, Mai Son, Song Ma, Muong La, and Thuan Chau and Son La City will display and sell typical farm produce such as longans, mangoes, passion fruit, red dragon fruit, avocadoes, bananas, pomelos, and coffee. These products are divided into three groups: longans, fruit and vegetables, and processed food.
Last year, nine of Son La province’s products were granted Trademark Registration Certificates: Song Ma longans, Son La coffee, Phu Yen oranges, Yen Chau mangoes, Moc Chau Shan Tuyet tea, Moc Chau safe vegetables, Moc Chau O Long tea, Ta Xua tea and Son La honey.
This year, the province has developed unique brand names for a further 12 products: Mai Son custard-apples, Moc Chau avocadoes, Son La Sturgeon, Song Da fish, Son Tra apples, Phong Lai-Thuan Chau tea, Thuan Chau taro, Muong Va-Sop Cop sticky rice, Son La safe vegetables, Son La passion fruit, Son La plums, and Yen Chau bananas.
