Rubber exports surge in first eight months
Vietnam earned US$1.38 billion from exporting more than 800,000 tonnes of rubber in the first eight months of 2017, year-on-year rise of 54.1% in value and 12.8% in volume.

China continued to be Vietnam’s top export market with US$867 million, 62.7% of the country’s total rubber export turnover in the period.
Malaysia came second with US$75.4 million and the Republic of Korea was third with US$56.7 million.
Vietnam remained as the world’s third largest rubber exporter with an estimated export turnover of nearly US$4.36 billion in 2016.
