Petrol prices remain unchanged in latest review

VOV.VN - National petrol prices were left unchanged in the latest periodic review made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance at 3 p.m. on August 22.

In line with current prices, the price of E5 RON92 bio-fuel was kept at no more than VND23,725 per litre, while that of RON95-III remained stable at VND24,669 per litre.

Furthermore, the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene increased slightly by only VND850 and VND736 to VND23,759 and VND24,056 per litre, respectively.

Moreover, the price of mazut 180CST 3.5S was unchanged at VND16,548 per kilogramme.

The two ministries also decided to make use of VND451 and VND493 per litre from the petrol price stabilisation fund for E5 RON92 and RON95-III, with VND250 per litre being used for diesel.

The ministries review fuel prices every 10 days in order to ensure that domestic prices stay in line with prices in the global market.

This year has seen less than 22 adjustments made to petrol prices, with 13 increases, eight decreases, and one instance of prices staying unchanged.
