VOV.VN - More than 800 businesses from 20 countries worldwide are showing products and technologies at the Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2024) which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on December 5.

On display across 1,000 booths are a range of food and smart consumer products, household electrical and electronic appliances, home, garden and landscape decoration items, as well as equipment and hand tools.
A number of seminars will be held throughout the expo with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) into daily life.
The expo aims to promote international trade and offer a wealth of opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to further expand their networks, build partnerships and explore new markets, said Nguyen Van Nga, an official of the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the opening ceremony.
She also expected that the event would contribute to creating a smarter, healthier, and more sustainable living environment for local families.
The Vietnam Expo 2024 is scheduled to run until December 7.
