Nearly 400 firms from 20 countries register for Vietnam Foodexpo 2024
VOV.VN - As many as 400 local and foreign enterprises from 20 countries worldwide are expected to join the Vietnam Foodexpo 2024,set to run from November 13 to 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On display across over 500 booths at the event will be a diverse range of products in multiple fields, including farm produce, raw and processed seafood, processed foods and beverages, food processing machinery and equipment, and food preservation and packaging technologies.
The highlight of the expo will be the Vietnam National Brand Pavilion, which aims to introduce local products that have achieved the Vietnam National Brand in the food and beverage industry.
A series of seminars will be held during the expo to strengthen trade exchanges, thereby connecting Vietnamese enterprises to international importers operating in the food industry.
Most notably, a seminar will be held specifically to assist firms in promoting Halal food exports, a move which in turn will open up bright prospects for local enterprises to fully tap into the potential Halal market with a scale of up to US$10,000 billion worldwide by 2028.
