Lotte offers shopping online
The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Lotte Group known for its supermarket chain LotteMart in Vietnam will launch an e-commerce site at lotte.vn on October 28 with an aim to attract more consumers.

Lotte Group on October 25 announced its participation in the e-commerce market, offering consumers its current source of goods from offline outlets.
Lottle E-Commerce Corporation, a member of Lotte Vietnam Co Ltd, was established on the same day, and the parent firm expects the new concern to hold a 20% online retail market share in Vietnam by 2025.
The online shopping site will provide consumers with all products from retail stores, including Lotte Mart, Lotte Department Store and Lotte DatViet Homeshopping, making it more convenient for local consumers to shop.
According to Google and Temasek, Vietnam’s e-commerce turnover is forecast to reach some US$8 billion in 2025.
