Under the deal, both sides will cooperate in exchanging information, sharing experiences in managing the market and in training human resources, as well as conducting joint research projects and holding seminars.

Speaking at the ceremony, HOSE management board chairman Nguyen Doan Hung said he hopes to learn from PSE’s experiences in order to improve his exchange’s capacity to manage the market effectively.

PSE chairman Hans B. Sicat praised the dramatic growth of the Vietnam Stock Market and said he believes cooperation will bring about new opportunities for the development of the stock markets of both countries.
