Hanoi to host Gift Show 2015
(VOV) - The Hanoi Gift Show 2015 for handicrafts, home décor products and furniture is set to get underway at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre on October 27-30.
The show, which is expected to be on a large scale, will include 600 stalls.
The event aims to promote Vietnamese exports and attract importers and customers from developed countries such as the US, EU countries, Japan, Russia, the Republic of Korea and Australia. The organizing board will provide free service for foreign importers on receiving at airports and fact-finding tours to craft villages. They will enjoy free stay in a hotel for two nights.
Hanoi Gift Show 2015 is also scheduled to lure about 200 domestic businesses from 30 cities and provinces across the country.
At the event, the organizing board will introduce new designs made by foreign experts.
An exhibition titled "One Village One Product Movement" will be held. 200 stalls will display traditional costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups, and special products of Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
Hanoi Gift Show has been held for fourth times and total transactions in previous shows were worth about US$15 million.
