France Week kicks off at Big C Vietnam

VOV.VN - Famous and iconic products featuring French culture are being put on display at 35 Big C supermarkets across the country within the frame work of France Week at Big C Vietnam 2018.

Organized by Central Group Vietnam, the week kicked off on November 2 at Big C Thao Dien in Ho Chi Minh City and will run through November 11 at 35 Big C supermarkets across the country to help Vietnamese customers experience new products from France.

This is the second time that France Week has been held in Vietnam. This year’s event takes place coinciding with an official visit to Vietnam of French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe from November 2 to 4 and to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 5th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Philippe Broianigo, Chief Executive Officer of Central Group Vietnam, said that Thai Central Group bought Big C from French Casino Group in May 2016. Central Group operates in Vietnam to serve Vietnamese customers so it still supplies French products to meet their demands for products with French quality standards.

An array of attractive products will be introduced during the week, such as a presentation of bread making with a French recipe, La Parisienne makeup style and special art performances. In addition, customers to Big C supermarkets during the week will have the chance to buy high quality products from France such as red wine, traditional bread, fruit jams, butter and cheese as well as cosmetics.
