BIDV to launch 24/7 e-tax payment service in October
The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) will provide 24/7 online payment service at the Customs e-Payment Portal from the end of October.

The new service allows companies to pay tax at the portal anytime, including weekends and holidays, and anywhere with the Internet access. It also enables firms to check and print out their history of tax transactions online and receive many special offers from the BIDV.
With the new form of tax payment, the customs authority will directly support enterprises in making payment documents from the original data and minimise errors in money transfer procedures.
The form will also ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all taxpayers’ information during the transaction and customise information fields in exchanging one or more forms at banks to reduce their working time with banks.
For the tax agency, this scheme will help reduce personnel for tax collection and simplify related processes. It ensures that tax is correctly settled right after taxpayers fulfill their duties, hence avoiding mistaken coercion. It will also minimise information errors in tax forms besides increasing the degree of satisfaction of businesses and international investors.
