The museum houses one of the largest collections of dolls in the globe—over 6,500 from across 85 countries and is one of the must-see attractions in Delhi, said Ambassador Thanh.
It’s is a great honour for me personally to have presided over the inauguration ceremony on October 21 and for Vietnam to have a section of the museum dedicated to exhibiting the country’s dolls.
On display, said the Ambassador, are a wide variety of 99 dolls with some wearing Ao Dai, others garbed in traditional dress of ethnic groups, while still others are water puppetry dolls or those playing folk games.
