Vietnamese culture and food introduced at Asia-Oceania fair in Brazil
VOV.VN - Vietnam was among 15 countries that attended the Asia-Oceania Food, Culture Fair in Brazil which was held on August 19 at the Brasilia Art Museum (MAB) in Brazil by the Asia-Oceania Ladies Association (AOLA).

The organisers of this year's festival have set the goal of making a charitable donation to the Santo Anibal Maria Center, an organisation of the Institute of Education and Social Culture, which supports the care of the disadvantaged, protects human rights, and seeks to promote citizenship in social, educational, and cultural activities.
The event featured the participation of more than 1,000 visitors, mainly Brazilians and people hailing from some other South American nations.
The occasion is viewed as a prime opportunity in which to promote the cultural diversity of various countries in the region in general, as well as the image of the land and people of Vietnam, showcasing the country’s unique and special cultural values.
Brief information regarding the nation was introduced appropriately to delegates and visitors to the function, thereby serving to create a positive impression on foreign people. Thereby, international friends, especially those in countries with little information about Vietnam, can better understand the potential, advantages, and contributions the nation to the common development process of the region and the world.
At the Vietnamese pavilion, visitors can enjoy choosing unique and creative handicraft products created by the skillful hands of Vietnamese people such as lacquered coconut bowls, pearl inlaid coconut bowls, brocade bags, silk scarves, and ties.
The festival was also a good occasion for international diners to once again savour the varied delicious and rich flavours of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as fried spring rolls, lemon tea, and Vietnamese-style coffee.
