Vietnamese culture and cuisine introduced in Brunei
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Culture and Cuisine Week opened on October 27 in Brunei, with the event aiming to promote the unique culture and cuisine of the nation to the Brunei people and international friends.

As part of his opening remarks at the function, Vietnamese Ambassador to Brunei Tran Anh Vu underscored the importance of cultural co-operation and people-to-people exchange in the development of each country and as part of the integration process of ASEAN member states.
“We hope to continue to receive close coordination from Government agencies and partners in Brunei in cultural exchange activities between the two countries in the coming time,” said Ambassador Vu.
At the event, Vietnamese diplomat shared Vietnam's potential of cultural and culinary tourism, expressing hope that there will be more tourists from Brunei and other countries visiting Vietnam in the near future, especially after the nation applies e-visas to citizens of all countries from August 15 and the Royal Brunei Airlines’ resumption of direct flights from Brunei to Ho Chi Minh City.
Within the framework of the programme, artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Hanoi College of Arts, and young Brunei artists performed famous musical pieces of the nation and the world as a whole.
Along with musical activities, from October 27 to November 4, Radisson Hotel will introduce a special menu to the Brunei public, featuring many special dishes which have contributed to turn Vietnam into one of the 20 countries boasting the world's top cuisine, according to the 2022 Taste Atlas ranking.
