Vietnam wins two gold medals at Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival
VOV.VN - Two local youngsters brought home gold medals at the ongoing 14th Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival held in Jiangsu province of China.
Che Ha Vu took the lead in the 3B Youth Chromatic Harmonica Solo category after winning a total of 86.2 points.
Another gold medal went to Hoang Yen Ha who scored 84.5 points in the Junior Chromatic Harmonica Solo category in the age group six to 13.
The Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival is the largest of its kind in the region and was first held back in 1996.
This year marks the 14th edition of the event. It initially began on August 8 and is due to last through until August 12, attracting over 1,000 contestants from across the world. Vietnam has sent a total of six representatives to the festival.
In particular, the Vietnam Harmonica Orchestra will join with foreign artists to perform in Charm Harmonica Concert as part of the 14th Asia-Pacific Harmonica Festival.
