Vietnam Festival 2023 to take place in Japan
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Festival 2023 is scheduled to take place from June 3 to June 4 at Yoyogi Park, heard at a press conference held on May 15 by the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan.
According to details given by Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu, the Vietnam Festival 2023 represents an important cultural event that helps Japanese people to get deeper insights into Vietnamese land, people, culture, history, and specialties.
It will also offer an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in Japan and Japanese friends interested in the country to interact and understand more about each other, he added.
Hieu noted that the occasion marks the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties which was set up in 1973 and will serve to help strengthen solidarity and friendship, thereby contributing to development linkages in all aspects between the two countries.
The organising board shared that this year's event is expected to draw the participation of 140 booths run by Vietnamese companies and organisations, which showcase a wide range of traditional Vietnamese products.
At the festival, visitors will also be able to enjoy outstanding cultural performances put on by artists from both nations.
