Truong Thi May models Ao Dai at Miss Universe 2013
(VOV) -Vietnamese representative Truong Thi May will wear an Ao Dai (the iconic long dress) when competing in the national fashions segment of the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in the Russian capital Moscow.
The dress—designed by Thuan Viet—is made of silk and embroidered with a lotus flower pattern symbolising grace and purity.
Viet hopes his dress will bolster May’s confidence and good fortune during the contest.
