Toyota Classics Concert takes to the stage in central city
The Toyota Classics Concert 2015 will take place at the central city's Trung Vuong Theatre on August 9, the event's organising committee has announced.
The concert, which will be under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, will feature Vietnamese songs composed by Trong Bang, Duc Trinh, Thuan Yen and Nguyen Tai Tue, and performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.
Solo violinist Bui Cong Duy will also perform scores by French composer Saint Saens and Russian composer P.I. Tchaikovsky, while saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan will play romantic songs by Vietnamese composers Trinh Cong Son and Doan Chuan-Tu Linh.
Tickets are available at the theatre, 86 Hung Vuong Street, Danang.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Toyota Vietnam Foundation to fund scholarships for talented young musicians in schools across the country.
