The music programme, entitled "Vietnam oi, ta buoc tiep chang duong" in Vietnamese, will include three parts. The first one features Vietnam’s classical pieces of music from 1945-1964; the second part reflects the country’s period of reunification war and post-war restoration from 1965-1985; and the final part focuses on Vietnam’s renovation era since 1986.
This will be a spectacular event with the participation of many well-known Vietnamese artists and singers. It will also screen many films, including documentaries and features on the Vietnamese country and its people.
The programme organisers expect the event will help raise money from donors nationwide for the Vietnam Fund for Young Talents.
