Miss World Vietnam 2019 kicks off
VOV.VN -The Miss World Vietnam beauty pageant officially began on the morning of April 22. The pageant is aiming to select a contestant to go onto represent Vietnam at the Miss World pageant which will take place in Thailand in November.

Ha Kieu Anh, Miss Vietnam 1992, was also selected as a judge whilst My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, and Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2018, were named as ambassadors for the Miss World Vietnam pageant.
The southern region’s final round is scheduled to be take place in Nha Trang while the northern region’s final round will to take place in Ha Long and Hanoi.
The pageant’s final night will take place in Danang in August.
The contestants will take part in a number of different competitions, such as the head to head challenge, the beauty for a purpose segment, and the top model segment. These will be held to help determine the overall winner.
The winners of the sub-contests will automatically qualify for a place in the top 10 at the final of Miss World Vietnam.
Miss World is widely considered one of the most reputable beauty pageants in the world which Vietnam has sent a number of representatives to over the years. Two beauties who achieved remarkable success at the Miss World pageant, include Nguyen Thi Huyen who finished in the top 15 of Miss World 2004, and Do My Linh who won the the Beauty with a Purpose award.
