Hanoi to celebrate German Oktoberfest beer festival
(VOV) -Oktoberfest 2014 – the world’s largest and most famous beer festival (das Bierfest) – will be celebrated in Hanoi at the JW Marriott Hotel from October 23-24.
This year’s festival is jointly being organised by Marriott Hotel in collaboration with the German Business Association.

The festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy laughter, singing, dancing, and the clatter of those renowned giant beer steins against tables along with traditional Bavarian folk music performed in costume by authentic German ensembles.
Beer lovers will also have the chance to taste famous draft beers and traditional foods from the south of Germany.
First celebrated in Munich, Germany, in 1810, the annual festival runs from late September to the first weekend in October attracting more than 6 million people from all corners of the map.
