Foreign contestants land in Vietnam for Mr World 2024
VOV.VN - As many as 80 contestants from across the world are arriving in Vietnam for the Mr World 2024 pageant which will be held in the country for the first time in late November.
On November 5, Mr World Vietnam 2024 Tuan Ngoc appeared at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in the early morning to welcome the contestants upon their arrival. The organising board also prepared gifts for contestants, including khăn rằn, a traditional checkered black and white scarf and sunscreen.
As scheduled, the contestants will have the chance to go sightseeing in Vung Tau and Phan Thiet, as well as taking part in a number of interesting activities on the sidelines of the beauty pageant.
They will also take part in a range of sub-contests, including Beauty With A Purpose, Top Model, Mr Talent, Mr Sport, and the Head to Head Challenge.
Mr World is one of three major global male pageants which is organised by the Miss World Organization.
The annual contest was first held in 1996 and it returns this year after a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jack Heslewood, the reigning Mr World, will hand over the title to his successor during the final night of the 2024 edition which is due to be held on November 23.
