The hot air balloon festival will take place from April 27 to 30, featuring morning flights (6:30-9:30 a.m.) and afternoon flights (4:00-6:00 p.m.). This will be the largest hot air balloon event ever held in Vietnam. Visitors can enjoy free admission, experience tethered balloon rides up to 50 meters high, and explore the inside of the balloons. Running in parallel is the Dong Nai 2025 Ceramics Festival, held at the provincial Event and External Affairs Center in Bien Hoa City, with the opening ceremony scheduled for the night of April 27. Visitors will have the chance to admire unique ceramic works from Bien Hoa and traditional craft villages across the country, alongside themed events such as panel discussions, a logo design contest, and a ceramic-themed photo competition.
The festival also features cultural exhibitions, traditional folk games, international exchanges, and an art creation contest, offering a vibrant and inclusive space for the community.
According to Deputy Head of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Bui Thanh Nam, the two events not only promote traditional culture but also help boost tourism, while creating momentum for the growth of local culinary, accommodation, and entertainment services. On this occasion, Dong Nai also aims to expand cooperation both domestically and internationally across the fields of culture, trade, and tourism.
