DIFF 2025 Grand Finale to promote global friendship, cultural exchange
VOV.VN - After nearly two months of vibrant competition, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 is set to conclude with a spectacular grand finale at 8:00 PM on July 12, promising an unforgettable showcase of world-class fireworks, music, and technology along the Han River.

Representing Vietnam, Z121 Vina Pyrotech, under the Ministry of National Defence, will present “Message of Peace,” a meticulously choreographed display featuring 7,000 fireworks divided into four themed chapters. The performance blends vibrant pyrotechnics with a powerful musical score, celebrating Vietnam’s enduring values of peace, resilience, and progress.
Highlights include internationally renowned tracks like Centuries, Fireworks, The Nights, and Pirates of the Caribbean, paired with beloved Vietnamese compositions such as Hào khí Việt Nam (The Heroic Spirit of Vietnam) and Khát vọng hòa bình (The Aspiration for Peace). Notably, the latter, performed at the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024, will serve as the emotional peak of the performance.
“As a military team, our performance embodies the spirit of the soldier, it is quiet but decisive. This finale will be more dynamic than our opening night, yet still maintain the essence of our disciplined approach,” shared Colonel Tran Thanh Son, team leader of Z121.
Facing off against Vietnam is Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display from China with their performance titled “A Shining Pearl – The City of Tomorrow”. Their show pays tribute to Da Nang as a symbol of peace, innovation, and global integration. Departing from their minimalist style in the qualifiers, the Chinese team will present a bold new format featuring 10 musical tracks and 7,000 fireworks.

In a groundbreaking move, Jiangxi Yangfeng will incorporate the viral Vietnamese song “Bắc Bling”, marking the first time the team uses local music in its display to honour Vietnamese culture and connect with local audiences. Their soundtrack also includes energetic international hits like The Final Countdown, Legacy of Six, and Promise of Hope, creating an emotional journey from present-day Da Nang to a visionary future.
“We aim not only to compete, but to connect. Our entire team are fueled by passion, and we hope to touch the hearts of every viewer in Da Nang and beyond,” stated team leader Liang Weiming.
In addition to the fireworks displays, the finale night will feature live performances by leading Vietnamese artists including My Tam, Tung Duong, and Huong Tram, accompanied by professional dance troupes. Enhancing the sensory experience is the continued use of SKY AR, a cutting-edge augmented reality technology that immerses audiences in a multi-layered visual journey bridging reality and the digital world.
The DIFF 2025 grand finale marks the culmination of the longest fireworks season in the festival’s 15-year history. With two finalist teams bringing distinct artistic visions and shared messages of peace, development, and cultural unity, this night promises to be a fitting celebration of global connection through light and sound.
