Danish Film Weeks to get underway in four Vietnamese cities
VOV.VN - Hanoi, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City are scheduled to host the Danish Film Weeks 2022 from July 1 to July 14 as part of activities to celebrate 51 years of bilateral diplomacy between Vietnam and Denmark.
Six movies to be screened during the festival are ‘The Good Traitor’, ‘The Purity of Vengeance’, ‘That Time of Year’, ‘A Perfectly Normal Family’, ‘Daniel’, and ‘Land of Mine’.
These films have won several awards and nominations at prestigious Danish and international film festivals, with some having requirements relating to age limits.
All the movies will be shown in their original language and will feature English and Vietnamese subtitles.
Free tickets are available in Hue and Da Nang from June 22, as well as in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from June 24.
Over the past five years the Danish Film Weeks has become a popular cultural event among Vietnamese cinema lovers and has helped strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries.
