This is the first time the museum has introduced the public and international friends to part of its great collection of ancient Vietnamese gems in the lead up to the 66^th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

The museum has also published a bilingual book (Vietnamese and English) on the occasion, “Co ngoc Vietnam” (Ancient Vietnamese Gems), to honour the tradition of gemstone artwork in Vietnam as a treasure of its national cultural heritage.
